Parker’s Boat Yard works hard to be involved in many community outreach programs. We are proud sponsors of Bourne Community Boating, Old Sigh Race Series and Share the Waterways. Each of these programs encourages individuals to explore marine culture by getting them on the water.

Bourne Community Boating was founded in 2007 and runs an excellent program providing sailing instruction to full-time residents of the town of Bourne. Please visit bournecommunityboating.org for more information.

The Old Sigh Race Series was also established in 2007 and holds sailboat races every Wednesday throughout the summer. Old Sigh Race Series has a position for everyone; you could volunteer on the committee boat or volunteer as a crew member. Please visit oldsighraceseries.com

Share the Waterways is a program introduced to Red Brook Harbor by our founder Raz Parker. This program provides inner city campers the opportunity to spend a day on the water aboard sail and power boats. Dave Foynes volunteers his time to organize this popular event and carry on the tradition. For further information or to volunteer your time and your boat to this great program, please call the Parker’s Boat Yard office at 508.563.9366.
